Refund and Course Date Change Policy
This policy applies to registrations for Peel Epoxy training courses purchased through our website.
By registering for a course, you confirm that you have reviewed and accepted this Refund and Course Date Change Policy.
Student Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellations Made at Least 15 Days Before the Course
You may cancel your registration and receive a full refund when Peel Epoxy receives your written cancellation request at least 15 calendar days before the scheduled first day of your course.
For example, if your course begins on August 20, your cancellation request must be received no later than August 5.
Eligible refunds will be returned to the original payment method used during checkout.
Processing times may vary depending on your bank, credit-card provider or payment processor.
Cancellations Made Fewer Than 15 Days Before the Course
Registrations become non-refundable when the cancellation request is received 14 calendar days or fewer before the scheduled course start date.
This is because your seat has been reserved and may be difficult to fill on short notice.
The following are therefore non-refundable:
- Cancellations made within 14 days of the course
- Failure to attend the course
- Arriving late or leaving early
- Missing one or more training days
- Changes in personal or work schedules
- Travel, transportation or accommodation expenses
- Failure to review the course date before completing checkout
A course date change may still be requested, subject to the availability rules below.
Course Date Changes and Rescheduling
Requesting a Different Course Date
You may request to move your registration to another Peel Epoxy class.
Course date changes are not guaranteed and depend on available seats in the requested class.
A date change will be approved only when:
- The requested future class is open for registration
- The class has enough available seats
- Peel Epoxy confirms the change in writing
Do not assume your registration has been moved until you receive written confirmation from Peel Epoxy.
When the Requested Class Is Full
We cannot move your registration to a course that is fully booked.
You may:
- Choose another available course date
- Keep your original registration
- Request a refund only when your original registration remains eligible under the 15-day cancellation policy
Availability may change as new registrations are completed.
Date Changes Do Not Reset the Refund Period
Moving your registration to a later course does not create a new refund period.
Refund eligibility will continue to be determined using the start date of the course that was originally purchased.
This prevents a registration from being moved to a later date solely to extend the refund deadline.
Price Differences After Rescheduling
When moving to another class:
- If the new class has the same price, no additional course payment is required.
- If the new class has a higher price, the student must pay the difference before the transfer is confirmed.
- If the new class has a lower price, any price adjustment will be reviewed and confirmed by Peel Epoxy.
Promotional prices, discount codes and special offers may apply only to the course date for which they were originally offered.
Missed Courses and No-Shows
A student who does not attend the registered course without receiving an approved date change will be considered a no-show.
No refund will be provided for:
- No-shows
- Missed training days
- Late arrival
- Early departure
- Incomplete participation
A missed course does not automatically qualify for transfer to another class.
Any request made after a missed course will be reviewed by Peel Epoxy and will depend on the circumstances and available seats. Approval is not guaranteed.
Registration Transfers to Another Person
You may request to transfer your registration to another person when you are unable to attend.
The request must be submitted before the course begins and must include the replacement student’s:
- Full name
- Phone number
- Email address
- Any relevant dietary or accessibility information
The replacement student must accept the course terms, safety requirements and applicable policies.
A registration transfer is not confirmed until Peel Epoxy approves it in writing.
Course Changes by Peel Epoxy
Course Rescheduling
Peel Epoxy may occasionally need to change a course date because of instructor availability, facility conditions, emergencies, severe weather, safety concerns or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
When Peel Epoxy reschedules a course, registered students may choose to:
- Attend the replacement date
- Transfer the registration to another available class
- Request a full refund of the affected course registration
Peel Epoxy will contact registered students using the contact information provided during checkout.
Course Cancellation
If Peel Epoxy cancels a course and does not provide a suitable replacement date, registered students will receive a full refund of the amount paid for that course registration.
Peel Epoxy is not responsible for separate expenses incurred by a student, including:
- Transportation
- Flights
- Hotels
- Accommodation
- Lost wages
- Childcare
- Equipment purchases
- Other personal or business expenses
Students travelling from outside the area should choose flexible or refundable travel and accommodation arrangements.
How to Submit a Request
All refund, cancellation and course date change requests must be submitted in writing through the Contact Us page on the Peel Epoxy website.
Your request should include:
- Full name
- Order number
- Email address used during checkout
- Original course date
- Reason for the request
- Requested new date, when asking to reschedule
You may call 905-902-3007 for assistance, but your request must still be submitted in writing so that the date and details can be documented.
The date Peel Epoxy receives the written request will be used to determine refund eligibility.
Refund Method
Approved refunds will normally be issued to the original payment method used during checkout.
Peel Epoxy cannot control how quickly a bank, credit-card provider or payment processor posts the refunded amount to the customer’s account.
Any applicable refund confirmation will be sent to the email address associated with the order.
Incorrect Course Selection
Students are responsible for reviewing the following information before completing checkout:
- Course date
- Course location
- Number of attendees
- Course price
- Course requirements
- Cancellation terms
Contact Peel Epoxy as soon as possible if you accidentally purchase the wrong course date.
Corrections will depend on availability and the terms of this policy.
Exceptional Circumstances
Peel Epoxy may review documented exceptional circumstances individually.
Reviewing a request does not guarantee a refund, credit or course date change beyond the terms described in this policy.
Any exception must be approved in writing by Peel Epoxy.
Statutory Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy limits any cancellation, refund or other right that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer-protection legislation.
Ontario requires restrictions, limitations and other conditions of an online service purchase to be disclosed before checkout, and customers must have an opportunity to review and correct the transaction. Ontario also recommends that refund and exchange policies be clearly provided in writing to avoid misunderstandings.
